NATCOL successfully achieved the endorsement of new maximum use levels for natural colours by the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA).
Over these last two years, NATCOL consistently worked to enable the adoption of new use levels is several food categories such as jams, jellies and marmalades, fruit preparations, breakfast cereals and dried pasta and noodles and many other categories. We also re-confirmed our full commitment to provide data on Beta-carotenes and Apocarotenal with any other Codex Member or interested parties. The excellent work of our Working Group and representative in Seoul demonstrates our dedication, expertise and depth of knowledge at Codex level.
NATCOL now looks forward in contributing to the CCFA future work agenda.
