The European Consumers’ Organisation (BEUC)
Bureau Européen des Unions de Consommateurs acts as the umbrella group in Brussels for its members and our main task is to represent them at European level and defend the interests of all Europe’s consumers.
BEUC investigates EU decisions and developments likely to affect consumers, with a special focus on five areas identified as priorities by our members: Financial Services, Food, Digital Rights, Consumer Rights & Enforcement and Sustainability.
The European Food Information Council
The European Food Information Council (EUFIC) is a non-profit organisation which communicates science-based information on nutrition and health, food safety and quality, to help consumers to be better informed when choosing a well-balanced, safe and healthful diet.
The International Life Sciences Institute
ILSI was incorporated in 1978 to improve anticipation and response to scientific need. Our founders created an international organization; one that generates collaborative science leading to improved human and environmental health and safety worldwide. Prominent researchers from industry and academia jointly lead the organization, guiding its work to conduct research, harmonize the use of science, and encourage scientific dialogue.
